How we make money
Free while we're in early access. A paid tier for organizations comes later — more events, team access, custom domains. Attendee data is never the product: we don't sell it, share it, or market to your guests. That's written down in the Privacy Policy.
Where we are, honestly
Early access. We're not going to claim thousands of organizers we don't have. COTTERIE is built and run by one small team, used day to day by the clubs, meetups, and workshops we started it for, and open to new organizers now. Who's behind it.

Questions organizers ask first
- What happens to my attendees' names and emails?
- They're used to run your event and nothing else: your guest list, capacity and waitlist, and event emails (confirmation, reminders, waitlist promotion). We never sell, rent, or share attendee data, and guests aren't added to any list. Delete the event and its RSVPs go with it.
- Can an event be private?
- Yes. Every event is public, unlisted (link-only, hidden from search and browse), or private with an access code. Public is only the default if you choose it — you confirm visibility before publishing.
- Is there a limit on guests?
- No hard cap from us. You set the capacity you actually have room for, and everyone past it goes on the waitlist and moves up automatically as spots open.
- What does it cost?
- Nothing today. COTTERIE is free while it's in early access. A paid tier for organizations will come later — more events, team access, custom domains. Free stays free for small organizers.
