Who's behind this

COTTERIE is a small, independently built event platform. It came out of running recurring gatherings and getting tired of chasing RSVPs across group texts, spreadsheets, and a calendar invite nobody opened. There is no venture funding behind it and no growth team — just a working product and a short list of things it does well.

What we're trying to be good at

One thing: gatherings with a capacity limit. Clubs, meetups, workshops, classes, parties, fundraisers, conferences. Publish a page, share a link, let the waitlist manage itself. We are deliberately not building ticketing, sponsorship booths, or enterprise conference tooling.

How we make money

COTTERIE is free while it's in early access. A paid tier for organizations will come later — more events, team access, custom domains. We do not sell, rent, or share attendee data, and we never will; that's stated plainly in the Privacy Policy.

Where we are

Early access. That means the product is real and usable, the guest-facing pages are stable, and we're still adding to the organizer side week by week. If something breaks or you need something we don't do yet, tell us — at this size, requests actually get read.
