Using COTTERIE

You need an account to create events. Keep your login details to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account. You must be old enough to form a contract where you live.

Your events, your content

You own the content you publish — event copy, images, logos, colors. You give us the limited permission needed to host and display it. Only upload images you have the right to use.

Attendee data

When you collect RSVPs, you're responsible for the guest data you gather. Use it to run that event. Do not export it into unrelated marketing lists, sell it, or share it with third parties. Honour cancellation and deletion requests from your guests.

Acceptable use

No illegal events, harassment, spam, scraping, or attempts to break the service or access other people's data. We can suspend or remove accounts and events that do these things.

Price

COTTERIE is free during early access. If we introduce paid plans, existing free usage will keep working or you'll get clear notice before anything changes. There is no subscription to cancel today.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as-is during early access. We work to keep it up and your data safe, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service, and our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us (which, for now, is nothing). Don't use COTTERIE as your only record of anything critical.

Ending things

You can delete your events and account at any time. We can end service with reasonable notice except where an account is being used abusively.
